About me
Hello, I’m Wendy

Welcome to my website.
I am a Senior Accredited Counsellor and Accredited Supervisor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked as a therapist for over 23 years and offer counselling face to face and also via Zoom, together with hypnotherapy, supervision and life coaching. I work within the BACP ‘Ethical Framework for Counsellors’.
My Approach
I work as an integrative counsellor utilising the Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) schools of thought to help to offer you insight into difficulties which may arise from the past, your current situation or automatic thoughts and feelings that may not be beneficial within your life.
Therapy Room
My private practice is located in a lovely Edwardian house, in a comfortable room dedicated to providing counselling and hypnotherapy. It is important that you feel safe, secure and relaxed and I have taken every care to ensure that the room is conducive to our work together.
My
Counselling
Are you feeling that you would like to talk about issues that may be worrying you? Do you feel that your life is not as you would like it to be? Would you like to explore your thoughts or feelings?

Clinical
Supervision
I am a BACP Accredited Supervisor and work from a Person Centred perspective. My aim is to offer a professional, collaborative and supportive relationship in which we can explore your client work to increase your understanding and to discuss any issues that may arise from your sessions
with clients including difficulties, blindspots or ethical dilemmas and also to increase your resilience and self-awareness and to facilitate positive changes in your clients and to celebrate your progress and success.
Getting Help
I have worked with people from many walks of life and a variety of cultures and I would like to warmly welcome you to my practice and to help you to explore issues that you may have experienced, or are still dealing with today, including: anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, stress, bereavement, depression, discrimination, sexual orientation, bullying, disability, ageing, abuse, divorce, low self-esteem, guilt, loss, loneliness, anger, relationship issues, sexual abuse, panicattacks or sexuality. If I have not mentioned an issue that you would like to work with, please feel free to contact me to talk about this.
