My Approach


Within my integrative approach I use the Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) theories independently, but each theory complements the others so that as you pass through the various stages within your counselling, a different approach can be used which may meet your needs more appropriately at each particular stage.


I also use the above theories to work with the subconscious mind, using clinical hypnotherapy, to help to change habits or deep-seated beliefs/negative thinking that may be ‘inadvertently’ directing our lives in a way that is not working for us. Hypnotherapy also works well with anxiety, low self-esteem, fears and phobias, stress, insomnia, increased confidence, smoking, weightloss and many other issues.


Life coaching


We will discuss the most appropriate approach for you during our first session and I will then tailor each session for you so that we are always moving forwards within our work together.
